BATTS Table Tennis Club

BATTS is a Lottery sponsored centre with 12 tables in a large sports hall.
We provide table tennis catering for all standards from beginners of all ages through to top ranked England Junior and Seniors. The motto of BATTS is "Table Tennis for All". Spectator viewing is available from a social area through large glass panels.

BATTS was formed at Burnt Mill School in Harlow in 1994, after use of a small church hall became inadequate.

In 2005, we had the opportunity to bid for our very own full time centre. Harlow Council had been forced to close The Norman Booth Recreation Centre for budgetary reasons.  We prepared a bid and found out in December 2005 that we had been successful.

Our new centre opened in June 2006. BATTS has teams competing in the local Harlow league and teams representing BATTS TEAM PENIEL in the British League.

We regularly host other weekend events e.g. County weekends, tournaments, disabled days and school tournaments.
